business line of GIB (Global Investment Banking) Americas, the Strategic Equity Transactions (SET) team focuses on tailor-made equity financing, equity stake management and treasury share solutions.
SET works in conjunction with the other teams of the Investment Banking group
- Equity Capital Markets group, M&A and SFS
- as well as with coverage officers, equity derivatives traders and lawyers to assist a broad range of clients in addressing issues related to listed equities.



The SET team is seeking an entrepreneurial individual with a strong finance background who can make an immediate contribution to the structuring and origination of transactions with corporates, holding companies and large shareholders in North and South America.




Key Responsibilities include:

Preparing pitches and other materials for marketing and communication purposes
Assisting with the modeling, pricing, economic and credit analysis of potential transactions
Serving as a knowledgeable and reliable business line ambassador for internal and external stakeholders
Building and positively contributing to client relationships
Research and analysis of clients, prospects and situations to generate ideas and identify potential opportunities
Finding new ways to add value, enhance processes and support profit generation


Role Requirements:

Self-starter with demonstrated track record of leadership and personal initiative
Attention to detail and problem solving competencies
Proven capability to synthesize and present research findings clearly and concisely
Ability to multi-task and prioritize among high pressure situations and long-term projects, both on an independent basis or as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong inclination towards sales and/or relationship management
Strong quantitative background with an eagerness to learn about the derivatives and other structures that drive the SET activity
Understanding of equity markets, public companies and corporate finance
Recent Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field with a high GPA
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with investment banking, capital markets, derivatives or a related area
Familiarity with Bloomberg
Series 7, 63 or 79 licenses
