Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank's Legal Department is seeking an experienced legal and/or executive assistant that has experience in the Financial Industry.

Key Responsibilities
The Legal Assistant's primary responsibility will be to attend to administrative matters for the various Units in the Legal Department as follows.

Commercial Lending
· Tracking and recording requests for legal services
· Creating files
· Preparing and editing certain legal documents under attorney supervision
· Prepare Biweekly Commercial Lending spreadsheet
· Prepare Monthly KPI report
· Notarize documents
· Save documents in Depshare
· Request Quarterly the invoices paid by the client or at closing (enter into T360 and save emails)
· Assist with legal fees accruals


· Subpoenas
· Add Subpoenas to the Subpoena Log and update
· Scan and Save Subpoenas in the Litigation Depshare
· Forward PDF to Litigators
· PowerPoint Presentations
· Semi-Annual Litigation Reports
· Monthly KPI report
· Assist with hard copy mail and large/complicated printing jobs
· Assisting in the preparation of CLE materials for the CLE's that the Litigation Unit Provides
· Maintaining Litigation Calendar
· Filing/Organizing Annual Audit Responses that come in from Law Firms
· Printing documents on letterhead
creating paper files, when needed
and organizing the cabinets


· NYDFS Bank Certificate & License Requests
· Unclaimed Property Requests
· Legal Research
· Notarize Documents
· Corporate Resolutions
· Release of Liens
· Annual NAIC renewal
· Apostille and Legalization Requests

Additional responsibilities would include:

· Tymetrix360 – matter management and e-billing system, including administrative support, on boarding internal business users and law firms, matter creation in the tool, reviewing invoices, etc.

· Manage both non-USD invoices and multi-entities invoices
· Prepare invoice approval vouchers to pay other bills
· Wire payment process for domestic law firms
· Travel arrangements and submitting expenses
· Arrange for outgoing mail via USPS, FedEx or Messenger
· Filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning, answers phone and mail distribution
· Schedule meetings and reserve conference rooms
· Request visitor access card requests for visitors

Prior experience as a legal assistant (5 years minimum)

Associate or Bachelor's degree (desirable)
