Senior Auditors, under the supervision of the Lead Auditor, perform a preliminary assessment of the America's audited activity and internal control landscape.
As part of the Internal Audit team, the Senior Auditor performs independent testing and analysis on specific controls in order to meet the audit's objectives.
They also contribute to drafting the debriefing presentation and the final report sent to Management.
Periodically, they are responsible for monitoring the closure and application of corrective actions agreed by various CA-CIB business lines.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Internal Audit team, the Senior Auditor is responsible for the following:
- Independently conduct audit planning and fieldwork as assigned by the Lead Auditor, in accordance with IA methodology and completed within agreed timeframes, including:
o A preliminary assessment of the audited activity highlighting applicable risks and controls
o Testing and analysis of controls planned during the preliminary assessment
- Create clear and precise audit work papers for documenting the work performed and conclusions
- Identify and report audit findings, which consider the root causes for issues raised, develop practical solutions and value added recommendations, and conclude on the effectiveness and efficiency of control and business practices
- Present audit conclusions to Audit management and management of the audited unit through the debriefing presentation and the final report on the audited processes
- Conduct periodic follow-ups for monitoring corrective actions taken for closing any recommendations issued
- Keep superiors informed of the audit mission status and any factors that may potentially affect or delay the audit's execution.
Raise any other relevant information on the assigned audit and the risk and control environment
- Ability to multi-task and handle additional responsibilities as required

Management and Reporting

Direct reporting line to the Americas Audit Supervisor


- Internal Auditor shall have full, free and unrestricted access to any and all the organization's records, physical properties and personnel relevant to any function under review.
- Internal Auditors shall have no direct operational responsibility or authority over any of the activities under review.
They shall not develop systems or procedures, prepare records or engage in any activity, which belongs to the auditable perimeter.

- 3-5 years experience in audit (internal/external)
- 5 years of experience in a comparable financial services environment in the US would be a plus

- Post baccalaureate degree
- Educational focus in accounting, finance or related field of study
industry recognized certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA)
